Synopsis

Shannon MacLeod has always gone for the wrong type of man. After she drifted from one toxic relationship to the next, her last boyfriend gave her a wakeup call in the worst possible way. With her world shattered, she’s sworn off men—especially those of the bad-boy variety.

Cole Walker is exactly the sort that Shannon wants to avoid—gorgeous, tattooed, charming, and cocky. But his rough exterior hides a good man who’s ready to find “the one.” He’s determined to pull Shannon from her self-imposed solitude and win her heart.

As Shannon opens up in the face of Cole’s steady devotion, the passion between them ignites to blazing levels. But when Shannon’s past comes back to haunt her, her fears may destroy the trust Cole has built between them—and tear them apart for good

Why am I waiting for this? I really enjoy this contemporary romance series and I've read all the books but one. I had some issues with the last one, Fall From India Place, but Cole (the hero in this one) made a nice impression on me and I'm curious about his story. I like Ms Young's writing style and hope this book will ne another winner for me.

  1. I haven't read any from Samantha Young yet although I do remember her series because of the street names on her book titles. :) Thanks for sharing and I hope you enjoy this book as well.

  6. Soooo excited for this book! I really can't wait to read Cole's book, even after the disappointment that Fall from India Place was. Really that book was such a let down, the two main characters didn't live up to the awesomeness of the protagonists before them.
My favorite was Liv's novel and I hope this will be just as great (or maybe even more?)
I hope neither one of us will be disappointed.
    Amazing pick.

    1. I agree with you. Fall from India place was rather disappointing and I hope that things will get back on track with Cole's story. And I also absolutely loved Liv and Nate's story - they are my favourite couple :)
