This post is just a brief not on the upcoming release of the final book, Out of Breath, of the Breathing series by Rebecca Donovan next week. 

It has been a long and torturous wait that is nearly over. I cannot describe how excited and a little scared I am to read the finale of this series. I really loved Reason to Breathe and Barely Breathing. I read both books last year before I started my blog, so I haven't reviewed them here. I do plan to write a review of the complete series after I finish Out of Breath.

If you haven't heard about this series, or haven't read it yet, I strongly encourage you to do it. These are YA/NA (in the third book the characters will be in college, so I guess it is NA) novels that deal with a very heavy subject - domestic violence and child abuse. They are not all dark and gloomy, though. I think they are realistic and carry a glimmer of hope for salvation through real friendship and true love. 

Not to go into too much details about book 1 and 2, I will focus more on the upcoming conclusion of the story. Ms Donovan has answered some questions about Out of Breath (no spoilers, I guarantee) on her website. What I was most excited to learn is that Jonathan will be getting his story told in a separate set of  three books and I really hope for a happy end for him. He is a rather controversial character - I feel deeply for him, yet I felt uncomfortable with the way he was introduced into Emma's life. 

I also recommend to check the soundtrack for Out of Breath suggested by Ms Donovan. All the soundtracks suggested by Ms Donovan complement wonderfully her stories.

I was excited to learn this week (better late than never) that The Maze Runner by James Dashner, a favourite YA dystopian series, will be made into a movie. Entertainment Weekly just gave us the first look of the movie adaptation of the series, accompanied with a a brief interview with the movie director, Wes Ball. It looks good to me and I hope that the movie will do justice to these amazing series. The movie will be released on February 14, 2014.

If you have not read the series yet, check is out. It is a great dystopian adventure story, written in great style. I enjoyed every minute of it. Here are the books in the series in chronological order. In reality, you can read the Prequel after the other three books.

After the reveal of the title of the final book of the Divergent Series a few days ago, and it it Allegiant, for anyone who might have missed this, now we have the book cover. It was revealed on the Today Show where you can watch an interview with Ms Roth. I have to say I really like the cover, it is beautiful. 

Now, about the movie. The filming of Divergent is already underway and it is to be released on March 21, 2014. The exciting news is that the second book in the series, Insurgent, will also be made into a movie. The process of drafting the script has already began.

One of my favourite YA dystopian series is Legend by Marie Lu. I absolutely loved both Legend and Prodigy and now I can't wait for the final instalment of the series, Champion. The initial information was the the third book will be released some time in 2014 which is really far away for a fan like me. You can imagine how happy and excited was I a few days ago when I learned that Champion is actually coming out on 5 November 2013! 

In a sweet but short interview for Entertainment Weekly Ms Lu revealed not only the release date of Champion but also its cover. I have to say that I personally really like the covers both of Legend and Prodigy, but I think that the cover of Champion is simply amazing. In her interview Ms Lu also shared the basics the plot of the new book, as well as some exciting news about making the series into a movie. I honestly don't know what I am most excited about, the release date, the cover, the story development or the movie news. All of them together make some very, very happy news for the Legend fans!

Here is the latest news about Callie and Kayden. As you know after the terrible cliffhanger at the end of The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden, their story will continue in a second book - The Redemption of Callie and Kayden. The big news this week is the cover reveal of the new title, which I think is really beautiful, and the announcement of its release date - 6 Aug 2013. It seems really far away, but in the meantime do check regularly Ms Sorensen site for teasers of this book and all her upcoming titles. 

Lately, there has also been some new developments concerning her other very popular, and much loved by me, New Adult series - The Secret (Ella and Micha). The second book, The Forever of Ella and Micha, is coming out in less than a month, on 28 May 2013. You can read the Prologue on Ms Sorensen's site.

So, my blog is part of the Abbi Glines Birthday Bash organised by AToMR and here is my post to celebrate Ms Glines birthday. 

I discovered Ms Glines' books last summer starting with the Vincent boys Beau and Sawyer, then continued with Sadie and Jax and Marcus and whole Sea Breeze gang, finally coming to Blaire and Rush, looking eagerly forward to Woods' and Grant's stories later this year. 

I love all her characters and I get emotionally involved with their stories but my most favourite couple is Cage and Eva from While It Lasts. So, after thinking long and hard how to express my love and admiration for Ms Glines and her work and finally decided to give you a short excerpt of Cage and Eva's story.

This scene is a favourite of mine because it tells so much both about Cage and about Eva. He is a bad boy, yet a gentleman, a little bit naughty and a little bit nice. Eva is innocent and sweet and she is just beginning to explore her feelings and desires. It is a wonderful moment in their story!

"Looking for something?" Cage asked behind me.

I turned around to face him and almost swallowed my tongue when my eyes met his naked chest, I'd admired it from afar but never up close. It was better up close.

"An engaged lady shouldn't be looking at another man like she wants to take e lick." The teasing tone in his voice told me he didn't really mind my gawking at him at all. He was enjoying it.

"Who said I wanted to take a lick?" I replied, surprised at my own response. Was that flirting I had just done? I wasn't sure I'd ever flirted.

Cage ran a hand through his hair and let out a short deep laugh. "Maybe we ought to change the subject." Cage was nervous. Had my comment just made him nervous?

"You brought up the licking Cage, not me." I waited to see how he'd react this time.

"Yeah, I guess I did," he drawled and took a step toward me, Okay, so maybe I hadn't made him nervous. Guys like Cage probably didn't get nervous, "If you really want to talk about licking, I'll happily oblige."

Oh, my. Now, I was nervous. Cage reached out and took my left hand in his. The warmth from his callused palm my entire body tingle. "Only problem with talking about licking with is that it gives me ideas. I start thinking about things I shouldn't be thinking about. Things that will only torment me 'cause I'll never know just how sweet you taste. I may be a lot of things Eva, might even be a few of them names you called me but I'm not gonna touch what belongs to another man." 
I opened my mouth to say something and stopped when Cage lifted my left hand to his mouth and kissed my ring finger. Then his tongue darted out and just barely skimmed the top of my hand. He grinned wickedly.

At some point, I'd stopped breathing. When my lungs started burning I took a deep breath and Cage let my hand fall back to my side. "Sorry, I had to take a small taste." Then he winked at me and turned toward the door.

I stood silently as he walked back outside in the summer heat."

This is my way of saying Happy birthday, Abbi Glines! Thank you for all the amazing, sweet and heart-warming stories you write and share with us!

For the past couple of weeks I have been immersed in the amazing and rather scary world of the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. So far I have read the first three books and I am just starting the fourth one (they are five in total, so far). 

I have written short reviews/comments on the books I have read on Goodreads but nothing on the blog. I can assure you that this is not due to negligence. I am really passionate about this series, even slightly obsessed by it, a. For the me the separate books read like chapters of one story and I plan to review them   together in a single post. Hopefully, I will finish the series in the next couple of weeks (I keep prolonging the pleasure of it by reading other books in between) and then it is review time.

In the meantime, you can check the series on Goodreads and decide where to read them. Be warn, though, once you start them, there is no stopping before the final one! Mac's adventures with the Fae in modern-day Dublin are simply addictive. So is Jericho Barrons :)

There are no new releases this week but I have some exciting news to share with you. I am very happy to let you know that I have accepted in Samantha Young's Club 39. Ms Young is the author of one of my favourite books of 2012 - On Dublin Street. It will a series and the second book - Down London Road - is to be released on 7 May 2013. Make sure to read the excerpt from Chapter 1 on author's official website. It is totally worth it.

In the meantime you can enjoy Braden and Jocelyn's Christmas (free short story)  on Smexy Books. There is also an accompanying novella, telling the story of Ellie and Adam - Until Fountain Bridge - already available as a ebook.

As most of you already know Google Reader will be going out of business as of 1 July 2013, so we need a new way to follow our favourite blogs and to allow our readers to follow us. Since I started my blog after the announcement that the Google Reader will not be available any more, since currently I am not following that many blogs, I decided to wait some time and see which of the new solutions will serve me best. 

Increasingly, I have come to notice that my friends with book blogs show a preference for Bloglovin in the place of GFC. This week I decided it is time to give it a try. 

It has a nice interface and it is very user-friendly. I managed to transfer all the blogs that I am currently following into it without any problems. The claiming of my blog was also done almost effortlessly on my part. Even for someone like me, who is not particularly technically savvy, it was easy to install the Follow me button on my blog. 

In short, I can say that I quite like Bloglovin so far. I hope it will work for you too.

Here is some more movie news. After my last post on the Delirium TV series, here is the latest update on process of making a big screen movie out of Gayle Forman's If I Stay. 

The author herself shared with her fans on Facebook that the movie already has a producer selected - R. J. Cutler. his name can be added to that of Chloe Moretz who has been cast as the main heroine, Mia. Now what is left is to find the best actor for Adam. 

While I can see Chloe as Mia, things are different with Adam. Considering he is a particular favourite of mine (especially in the second book, Where She Went), casting someone to match perfectly my vision of him will be quite a challenge.

So, as I already shared with you the next book in the Too Far series (Fallen Too Far and Never Too Far) will not be focused on Rush and Blaire, but instead it will be telling the story of Woods. It is expected to be released on 23 April 2013. 

The great news for all anxious fans out there is that Ms Glines has started giving us snippets and teasers of Twisted Perfection. Check the first one on her website, and a slightly extended version on The Autumn Review.

I can't help but share with you some exciting news on the next book by Kristen Ashley. As you probably know Own the Wind, the first book in the Chaos series and a spin-off of Motorcycle Man (Dream Man series) is coming out as an ebook on 2 April 2013. It will tell the story of Tack's daughter, Tabby and his brother from Chaos MC, Shy. 

So, the great news is that you can download he first two chapters of the book form KA website. I have to warn you, though. Read them on your own risk, they are absolutely addictive. It will be a seriously long wait till 2 April. If you have not read the Motorcycle Man, you still have time to do it before Own the Wind it out.  Knowing the story of Tack and Tyra will make you appreciate the first Chaos even more. Well, I also now is the right time to admit that Kane ''Tack'' Allen is is my absolute favourite alpha male of all Kristen Ashley's heroes, and there are some seriously swoon-worthy characters in her books - Raid, Tate, Wood, Ty, Mitch Lawson, to name a few. Will Shy get a place among them, we will see in less than a month :)

These are the new releases which I look forward to this week. It has been a long wait for Lauren Oliver's final book in the Delirium series. The first book Delirium made into my all-time favourites list. I don't think there is any other book where I have highlighted some many passages. The writing style of Ms Oliver is simply beautiful, even poetic. The beginning of the second book had me in tears the whole time I was reading it. 

The next book coming out this week is also the final piece in series of three novels. Reckless is the final part of the steamy and turbulent love story of Kellan and Kiera. I was not particularly impressed with the first book. The cheating was absolutely unacceptable for me, still I was happy for them in the second book. Now I a eager for their happily ever after.

As I have already posted earlier Katie Ashley's new book Music of the Heart will be released on 25 March. In the meantime, do check the author's website for teasers and snipets. Ms Ashley has been publishing them since January, so there are quite a few of them you can enjoy. You can also read the first two chapters in full.  I guarantee you, after reading them, you will be just as hooked with this romance as I am. 25 March just can't come fast enough for me.

Recently J. A. Redmerski announced that there will be a sequel to her very successful novel The Edge of Never. What we have learned so far from the author's site is that The Edge of Always will tell the story of Camryn and Andrew mostly from Andrews POV. 

I absolutely loved the first book. For me it is complete as a stand-alone and I am not sure how well a sequel will work. The Edge of Never has dual POVs and an epilogue that completes the journey of the characters. Finishing the book I didn't feel the need for continuation or further elaboration of any part of it. 

This said, I liked Andrew a lot and I would enjoy reading more from him - his own journey and thoughts on life and love. 

I can only hope that the second book will live up to the high quality of the first. We will have to wait and see what J. A. Redmerski will offer us. In the meantime, stay tuned for news on the cover (it will be matching the cover of The Edge of Never which is pretty amazing) and the release date of The Edge of Always.

If you have missed this series, make sure to read it. It is an emotional story that covers issues such as domestic violence and pure, insane hatred, best-friend's loyalty and healing boyfriend's love. It is ultimately a story of survival against the odds and finding one's true self in the process. 

I came across Katie Ashley through another literary blog - Three chicks and their books. I still have not found the time to read her books - The Proposition and its continuation, the The Proposa,l but they are definitely already on my to-read list. 

It is her next novel that I am absolutely looking forward to - Music of the Heart. Being a romance involving a hot rock star it sounds like a must read for me. It will be out in March but until then you can enjoy little teasers and its first two chapters online on the author's site. 

Another piece of exciting news. The second book of Callie and Kayden will be published some time this year. Unfortunately, we don't have a date set for this, nor a cover available, but Jessica Sorensen is providing an excerpt of the book on her website. It's a huge relief after that unbelievable cliffhanger at the end of book 1. 

There will also be a second book of Ella and Micha available this year. While waiting for it, you can check the three teasers (far too short for my liking) on Jessica's site.
