Top Authors I've Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More

Anne Calhoun - I've read Jaded, a small-town romance, which I really enjoyed and having read great reviews of some of her other works, I'm excited to read her next book, Afternoon Delight.

Cindy Gerard - I read her romantic suspense The Way Home last Christmas and I loved it. The next books in this series, Running Blind, releases in February 2015 and I already have it on my TBR list. I may go back and read book 1 in the series in the meantime.

Courtney Milan - I recently read The Suffragette Scandal from her Brothers Sinister series and now I'm thinking of going back and reading the whole series, that's how much I enjoyed it.

Joe Abercrombie - I read Half a King, book 1 in a new fantasy series by Mr. Abercrombie and I want to continue with it

Brian Staveley - same as the above. I read his debut book, The Emperor's Blades, and I loved it. The good news is that the next installment, The Providence of Fire, releases in Jan 2015.

Jane Harvey-Berrick - I've only read Lifers, a hot NA romance but I have most of her other works of my TBR list. Her latest one, Summer of Seventeen, releases next week and the blurb makes me excited about it.

Melissa Keil - I read her first book, Life in Outer Space, last year and I had great fun with this nerdy YA coming-of-age story. Ms Keil second book, The Incredible Adventure of Cinnamon Girl, just released and I can't wait to read it.

Jessica Topper - I read her debut rockstar romance, Louder Than Love, last year and I loved it. She will be expanding this into a series about the rest of the guys from Rotten Graves. In the meantime, I'm excited to read her next book, Dictatorship of the Dress, coming out in Jan 2015.

Mary Ann Rivers - I've only read her novella, The Story Guy, but it got me curious about her full-length novels, so I've added Live and Laugh to my never-ending TBR list.

Alexi Lawless - Complicated Creatures Part I is a debut romantic suspense for Ms Lawless and it was a pleasant surprise for me. It ends on a sort of cliffhanger, so Part II is a must read for me. It releases in Oct 2014.

Top Ten Books I Wanted to Read but I'm Not Sure Anymore

Allegiant by Veronica Roth – Unfortunately, I read a big spoiler early on, and now I’m not sure I want to finish this series.
The Promise by Kristen Ashley – I loved Benny and Franky in At Peace, but I’ve read far too many negative reviews of their book and I’ve been disappointed in the latest books by Kristen Ashley that I read.

Love, In English by Karina Halle – the mixed reviews make me hesitant to pick up this book. Add to that the fact that involves cheating and it goes to my maybe-read pile.
The Coincidnce Series by Jessica Sorensen – this series is becoming too depressing and the author keeps adding new books and stretching the stories, so I’m not sure I’ll continue with it.
Take a Chance by Abbi Glines – I was curious about Grant’s story since I quite liked him in book 1, but this series is getting repetitive and there seems to be no end in sight.
Promise Me This by Christina Lee – the previous two books in this series didn't work very well for me, but the blurb for this one makes me curious and I might give this author another try.

Deeper by Robin York – I love the adult novels by Ruthie Knox but I’m not sure about her NA books written under the name Robin York. I haven’t had much success with NA, so I’m hesitant.

Listed in random order, here are
My Top Ten Favorite TV Shows

Note: The picture links the the show's page on imdb.com

Sons of Anarchy - I love this show and despite the ending of the previous season which broke my heart, I can't wait for the final season, starting this autumn. #TeamJax

Vikings - A bit too violent and bloody, but still quite good historical series. I don't know that much about the Vikings and I enjoy getting these glimpses into their lives and beliefs. Season 3 is to start next year.

Justified - the story of small-town US marshal Raylan Givens fighting crime

Hell on Wheels - historical drama about the construction of the American railroad. Season 4 is coming this August

Homeland - fast-paced and emotionally intense terrorist/espionage drama. Claire Danes makes a memorable role. Season 4 coming in October

Suits - cute legal drama. After a short break Season 4 just continued in June

White Collar - crime thriller involving dealing with antiques and with Matt Bomer paying one very irresistible conman. There is Season 6 scheduled for this year but no more info.

Downton Abbey - historical drama set in the English countryside for the period around WWI. Season 5 starts in September.

Friends - best comedy series ever :) Ran for 10 seasons and produced so many laughs and memorable quotes.

ER - my favourite medical series. It ran for 15 seasons and it had some pretty moving episodes that had me crying more than once.

For today's topic Ten Book Cover Trends I Like I've chosen covers where the people are with their backs to the readers. It can be sexy or just secretive and intriguing but these covers always catch my eye.

Top Ten Watch Your Back Covers

I have this book on my TBR list and will hopefully get to it soon. In the meantime I absolutely love the cover
I haven't read this book yet but plan on it and the cover is super hot.

I love Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series and though I haven't try Guild Hunter series yet, this cover is so tempting
I loved this book - dark romantic suspense at its best

It's a favourite New Adult book - it has many flaws but the cover is beautiful

Melina Marchetta is one my all-time favourite authors and this cover fits the story perfectly.

Another favourite by Ms Marchetta

It's a touching YA/NA story

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the cover is rather unusual and quite fitting.

Ok, the focus is on the shoes, but she is with her back to us, so I think it fits in the list. And I loved the book.
